AAHP's strength comes from the expertise and engagement of its members. Committees provide members with an opportunity to contribute their knowledge, collaborate with industry peers, and help guide the programs, initiatives, and priorities that support the homeopathic industry. 

Whether your interests lie in education, membership growth, communications, advocacy, or financial stewardship, there is a place for you to get involved. 

Committee participation allows members to:

Most committees meet quarterly, with additional meetings scheduled as needed throughout the year. 

Education Committee

The Education Committee leads AAHP's educational programming and helps ensure members have access to valuable learning opportunities and events. 

Committee members help: 

  • Identify timely educational topics and industry trends 
  • Recommend speakers and subject matter experts 
  • Support the development of webinars, seminars, and training programs 
  • Provide feedback on educational content and learning objectives 
  • Evaluate program performance and member feedback

Business Development / Membership Committee

The Business Development & Membership Committee focuses on growing, retaining, and strengthening AAHP membership. 

Committee members help: 

  • Identify and engage prospective members 
  • Strengthen member recruitment and retention efforts 
  • Improve the new member onboarding experience 
  • Recommend strategies to increase member engagement 
  • Help communicate and strengthen AAHP's membership value 

Ideal for members interested in business development, networking, industry outreach, and member engagement. 

Editorial/Communications Committee 

The Editorial & Communications Committee helps guide AAHP's communications strategy and ensures members receive clear and valuable information. 

Committee members help: 

  • Identify content ideas and industry topics of interest 
  •  Support the development of newsletters, articles, and member communications 
  • Review and provide feedback on messaging and communications initiatives 
  • Promote AAHP programs, events, and member resources 
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen AAHP's industry presence and thought leadership 

Ideal for members interested in communications, content development, marketing, public relations, and industry advocacy. 

Budget & Finance Committee

The Budget & Finance Committee supports the Board's oversight of AAHP's financial planning and performance. 

Committee members help: 

  • Provide input on annual budgeting and financial planning 
  • Review financial performance and trends 
  • Evaluate the financial impact of programs and initiatives 
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen AAHP's financial sustainability 
  • Support responsible stewardship of association resources 

Ideal for members with experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, business operations, or organizational leadership.

Legal & Regulatory Committee

The Legal & Regulatory Committee maintains relationships with regulators and monitors policies and regulatory developments affecting the homeopathic industry. 

Committee members help: 

  • Monitor regulatory and legislative developments affecting the industry 
  • Identify emerging issues and areas of concern 
  • Support AAHP's advocacy and regulatory outreach efforts 
  • Share industry expertise and regulatory perspectives 
  • Help inform members about important policy and compliance developments 

Ideal for members involved in regulatory affairs, compliance, legal matters, government affairs, or industry advocacy. 

Due to the nature of its work, participation may be more limited and focused on members with relevant expertise and experience.
