Meet our Guest Speaker: Jingjing Qian, PhD, Associate Professor, Harrison College of Pharmacy, Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama
Through the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE), Dr. Qian will be working on a study proposed by AAHP on the safety of homeopathic drug products. The year-long study will examine adverse events and their characteristics in the FDA FAERS data, as well as quantitatively assess reporting risk of serious AEs associated with homeopathic drugs. Findings of this project will provide an up to date and fundamental safety profile of marketed homeopathic drugs, which further supports a well-informed legislative and regulatory environment for homeopathic products in the United States.
Also joining us will be AFPE president Ellen Woods who spoke at AAHP’s October 2023 membership meeting.
